More Fun then A Bread Board, I Mean Box
Well today I had my physical computing class. Morning classes eh. Anyways looks like it'll be fun but not necessarily easy. I've never really messed heavily with creating electronics from scratch let along programming micro-controllers. Should be fun though. Had to buy this one board and then this kit, still gotta go get the power supply, argh, 100 bucks maybe a lil more total? My Aluminum Powerbook is finally fixed. Gonna go pick it up either tonite or tomorrow morning. More pictures will arrive as a result as well as much improved computing. Took like 9 days for them to fix it. I'll have to try SoHo next time I have a problem, apparently the Borg Cube's (5th Ave.) turn around sucks. So yeah, gonna go eat dinner then it's an I.T.P. Drive By and then TNO! Laters.

Actually they're hovering. It's a new trick, they call it the helicopter, these dolphins just learned it. Let's see SeaWorld's animals try that, hey. SeaWorld ain't got nothing on Shedd. Talkin' to you Shamu.
Rewind it
Well since I didn't have a connection nor did I have time nor did I have functional computers to upload these at the begining. Here's some of the pics from my time in Chicago before heading to N.Y. Chicago, very cool city, liked it.

Fire
Well I finally have an internet connection! It feels like rubbing two sticks together and getting fire. Yeah, been in the stone age lately. Labor day weekend was productive and got much done. Also, got to hang with my friend Christine, had some good bagels from Esa, met her cousins' cool cats, especially Boney the cat from Uganda, and had some pizza near Tompkin's Square Park. "The Dauntless" (my PMac G5) went back in for service joining my Al Book at the 5th avenue store yesterday. That was fun lugging that box back on the subway, even though it was empty. I had my first class today. It was awesome. It's taught by the chair of my department Red Burns. Basically she brings in a speaker every week and every week two groups of 5 present a response on the previous weeks speaker in the first half of the class. Today's speaker, totally shocked me, Vito Acconci. Never could have imagined he'd be a speaker, awesome. He's done a lot of things over the years but lets just say performance art from the 70's in which he masturbates. Now he's an architect. Great speaker. Downside, met my group members and well the dynamic will be interesting lets say. Anyways it's really late here. I just wanted to get a post up. Pics will come soon maybe on the weekend hopefully. Lates.
